Stitching Sundays 11

I am a bit late with my Stitching Sundays post this week, as you may have noticed that it's Monday.  Time just ran away with me yesterday!  I have embroidered snowflakes on the plain silver/grey and turquoise blue material.
I used simple stitches in grey and white - split stitch, backstitch and french knots.
I'm pleased with how they turned out.  I have sewn the triangles for the bunting and hope to be able to show the finished bunting next week.

    1. Thanks, Mirjam. The other materials are quite highly patterned, so I thought a delicate embroidery would be a good contrast.
      Happy Monday to you too.

    1. Thanks, Hannapat. I am hoping that the choice of materials will make some unusual winter bunting, using black, white, grey and turquoise blue. I am ready to assemble and sew it now so will hopefully have a photo of the finished thing at the weekend.

    1. Thanks, Chrissie. I am hoping it will all work together well. I stiffened the grey and blue materials by ironing on some interfacing as they were rather slippery and flimsy, which should make them a similar weight to the other cottons I am using. I am really enjoying the little bits of embroidery I am doing.
