For all of us beginner sewing machinists...

This was posted up by a friend and it made me laugh, so I have unashamedly put it up here too. Anyone who has wrestled with an unfathomable sewing machine manual will have some sympathy... you are not alone!

    1. Thanks, Toffeeapple. I haven't discovered how to do that on my Janome - hmm, perhaps I'll have to try and decipher the manual again! Good luck with the feed dogs!

    2. I know how to do it now, I contacted this lovely lady:

I don't know if your machine is the same as mine but if it is, you take off the extension table which includes the accessory drawer and there is a switch underneath!

    1. Thanks, Mirjam. Don't worry at all - it is an added extra (and really lovely) if anyone comments, but it isn't a problem if they don't.

    1. Thanks, Alison. I know what some things are called, but sometimes, 'spinny thing' etc. makes more sense!

    1. Thanks, Amalia. Whoever thought of this knows exactly what a sewing machine is like! I would love a sewing machine that could make tea...
