It is a reasonably simple process where you use three strands as normal, except the lazy strand with the gemstones on it, is picked up and goes over the top of the working strands, which continue with a square knot underneath the stone and then it goes back underneath again (if you see what I mean). I am not sure whether I can find instructions or a tutorial either, but I'll have a look. If you would like to email me via my contact details on my profile page, even if I can't find a tutorial, I can perhaps talk you through what I did in a little more detail.
Best wishes
EllieEllie Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437259693600577503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-87242034381862770202013-11-27T10:55:48.492+00:002013-11-27T10:55:48.492+00:00Hi!

The only proviso is that the stones will fit onto the cord (which a lot of gemstones don't!) Of course, that means further research (and spending, no doubt) on widths of cord...
Best wishes
EllieEllie Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437259693600577503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-44716284284740051872012-10-21T10:07:31.302+01:002012-10-21T10:07:31.302+01:00Now that is rather nifty! I haven't yet plucked up enough courage to try the herringbone/fishbone knot yet - that's my next challenge.
Best wishes
EllieEllie Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437259693600577503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-1324811700796471232012-10-16T10:54:55.161+01:002012-10-16T10:54:55.161+01:00Dear Lynne

Sister of the Angels is set in Torminster and features Henrietta as the heroine, with her father, grandfather, grandmother and adopted brother. It is a lovely Christmassy story and is well worth a read. It is quite difficult to get hold of but the occasional copy does turn up, so put it on your wish list and keep looking (around £15.00 in the UK, but $30.00 plus in the US). I hope you manage to find it.
Best wishes
EllieEllie Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437259693600577503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-32269048125230853362012-10-16T09:27:19.654+01:002012-10-16T09:27:19.654+01:00Hi Ellie, lovely bracelet, but that's not why ...Hi Ellie, lovely bracelet, but that's not why I'm here! I hopped across from Sue's blog this morning after reading your comment. I have loved Elizabeth Goudge 's books for years, but have never come across a sequel to City of Bells...yippeee, now just to try and find one!

Nice to 'meet' you, Ellie, and have had a good read of your lovely blog, thanks for the tip, I'm off to look for a book!
