I bought them from Create and Craft, after seeing them being used on the show. The storage caddy also came from there. (I have just checked and the ink pads and re-inkers are available on the Create and Craft website - item 467430).
Best wishes
EllieEllie Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437259693600577503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-44300997208271653112019-03-05T18:03:48.203+00:002019-03-05T18:03:48.203+00:00May I ask where you sourced your sparkly ink pads ...May I ask where you sourced your sparkly ink pads please xcxChrissiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13613570629230619992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-69944572648320745432019-03-04T21:21:05.076+00:002019-03-04T21:21:05.076+00:00Thanks, Chrissie. It didn't take as long as I thought it might because I could make pompoms while watching TV, or during my lunchbreak at work, so the pile of them grew reasonably quickly. I used the Clover pompom makers, which are simple to use, although I did have to secure the wool by sewing through the middle of each pompom as I find the makers left the middles rather loose and the wool could pull out.
I do have a few pompoms left over so am thinking that perhaps I need a garland now! (Making pompoms is quite addictive...)
Best wishes
EllieEllie Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437259693600577503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-90631720974274586592019-03-02T17:12:59.716+00:002019-03-02T17:12:59.716+00:00omg, I love the pom pom wreath, I bet that took so...omg, I love the pom pom wreath, I bet that took some time making those pom pom's. I haven't made a pom pom for years. Do you have a proper maker or use cardboard?
Briony
xcrafty cat cornerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06251582085392890533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-24898182580014495982019-03-02T16:32:55.644+00:002019-03-02T16:32:55.644+00:00Thanks, Jayne. I saw a pompom wreath in a shop and thought 'I could do that' so spent a good while during January making pompoms.
I have made a fabric wreath which had three tubes of material stuffed with toy stuffing and then plaited and a bow added. There's a photo of it on my Christmas Eve post from 2018, should you be curious!
Best wishes
EllieEllie Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437259693600577503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-69335019596059692582019-03-02T15:58:53.858+00:002019-03-02T15:58:53.858+00:00You clever girl, both projects have come out beaut...You clever girl, both projects have come out beautifully and you're right, the wreath is so happy. I am always inspired by Lucy's seasonal wreaths at Attic 24 but I cannot crochet or knit so they're never going to happen! Occasionally I wonder if I could do a fabric version but I have never made the time to do more than think about it.Bag End Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06190496929132717769noreply@blogger.com
