The Botswana agate and grey agate one seems to be winning in the popularity stakes - perhaps I should make some more! I watched the macrame special today and saw two new techniques that I need to try. I was very good and didn't buy anything though, so my bank account can rest easy for today.
Best wishes
Ellie

Ellie Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437259693600577503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-74163116955443004262012-09-24T15:39:24.185+01:002012-09-24T15:39:24.185+01:00Ooh, they're lovely. I am really pleased with the way these turned out and I find macrame is a very relaxing and therapeutic thing to do in the evenings (unless you forget to count the knots and then, if you are me, you have to undo it all and start again!) The other good thing is that you don't need that much equipment to get going - 2 bulldog clips, a piece of board, cord and some beads or gemstones and some PVA glue if you want the ends to be really secure and that's it. I am starting to get quite addicted! Unfortunately for my bank account, jewellery maker are doing a macrame special tomorrow, so I'll be watching that with interest.
Best wishes
Ellie
Ellie Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437259693600577503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-89008827297980351362012-09-22T23:01:53.625+01:002012-09-22T23:01:53.625+01:00These are absolutely beautiful. I am very inspired to have a go at macrame, although quite when I'll find the time I don't know! xGillian Roehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05080123177116154219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-46789605316050941162012-09-22T17:15:51.315+01:002012-09-22T17:15:51.315+01:00Dear Victoria

I love blue sandstone too - in fact it was this stone that started the jewellery making in the first place, a year and a half ago!
Best wishes
EllieEllie Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437259693600577503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535765080722557710.post-5163120523332099522012-09-22T11:47:35.049+01:002012-09-22T11:47:35.049+01:00Beautiful Ellie!
