Stars

I treated myself to two strands of these very pretty haematite stars recently as I thought they would be perfect for Christmas.
So far, I've only used eight of them to make myself two pairs of starry earrings and I love them!  They sparkle when they catch the light and are very pretty.  I wonder how many other star based designs I can come up with?

Thank you - they are really sparkly when they catch the light, despite being a silvery grey colour. I wore one pair yesterday at work and several people commented on them. More designs are needed, I feel!

  2. How lovely they are, no wonder you had compliments. I wonder how they would look on a velvet ribbon?

Thank you for that thought - they would probably look lovely against a velvet ribbon.

  3. Oh Ellie, those earrings are so gorgeous! I especially love the pair on the left, they are sparkly and Christmassy and perfect. I think they would look lovely on a bracelet too. x

Thank you, but I must admit to getting inspiration from other designers and makers, magazines and books, as we all do. However, it is always lovely to be able to put your own mark on something. It is even lovelier to be able to make jewellery and then wear it straightaway!
