Here it is again.
This is Clematis Perle D'Azur growing with Rose New Dawn. The clematis has grown a lot since I took this photo.
Clematis Prince Charles, growing in a large tub.
Clematis Princess Kate also growing in a tub, but which needs to be potted on into a larger one - next Spring perhaps. I had planned to do it this year, but lockdown and a lack of compost postponed this,
Clematis Arabella in the border.
Perle D'Azur and Rose New Dawn on the metal arch.
Penstemon Garnet was looking rather lovely too, so here it is.
Glorious!
ReplyDeleteThanks, kjsutcliffe. They are looking lovely at the moment and I am enjoying the mix of purples, blues and whites.

Ooooh.
ReplyDeleteAnd ahhhh.
Your garden is looking lovely and must be an incredible solace in these difficult times.
Thanks, EC. I do love my little garden, which is indeed very important to me, never more so than now. It is still looking very green and is growing very lushly with the rain we are having. The only slight downside to that is if I venture out, I get absolutely soaked by all the overhanging plants!

I only have the one clematis 'Blue Angel' and the snails do not touch it, that suits me as you probably know my garden is snail heaven, lol
ReplyDeleteBut this one comes back every year and always gives a good show.
I have tried other types but the snails get them every time.

Thanks, Briony. I have two Blue Angels - one in a pot and the other in a border, but they are taking a while to really get going - unlike your beautiful clematis! I have a fair bit of bother with snails too, so I feel your pain there!
DeleteThe clematis do seem to be enjoying the weather this year.

Hello Ellie. Your garden must look amazing!! A delight to sit outside with a cuppa tea and contemplate such loveliness. My mother definitely had green-fingers....she loved her garden and spent hours there.I have fond memories of cream teas in her garden :-) Incidentally I am back after being away from my blog for 10 months!!...shudder!! So this post is to say hello again and to invite you to enter my Fresh Start craft giveaway :-) Keep well Amanda x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amanda and welcome back. I do love my garden, even if it is attempting to be a jungle at the moment! I get a lot of pleasure from sitting, looking and enjoying.
