Snow

Like most of the UK, we have had snow.  This was the scene looking down the garden this morning.  However, we were luckier than a lot of people as the snow hasn't settled and has pretty much gone now.
I like the snow to look at, but don't like it if we have to go anywhere.
My poor box bushes were looking a bit chilly!
There was just one thing to do.  Light the fire and settle down in the warm to write some Christmas cards.  So, that's what I did.

  1. We rarely get snow, and even more rarely snow which settles. So I am always excited to see it. (And don't feel the cold). Your afternoon by the fire writing cards sounds lovely though.

    1. Thanks, EC. We have been lucky because we haven't had that much over on this side of the country. The UK is rubbish at dealing with snow and the country just grinds to a halt. We really should learn from countries like Canada and Russia which are much more prepared than we are and just keep going!
More cards need to be written, but I have made a start.

  2. The fire looks inviting, very inviting. I'm not one who enjoys snow, but we've had 3 dustings so far...hopefully we won't get a lot more. Saw your adorable sheep and had to come visit your blog. It's always fun meeting new bloggers.

    1. Thanks and welcome, Sandy. As you say, it's always so lovely to meet new bloggers. The snow has gone but it has stayed quite chilly. It's been raining most of today. I shall be making lots more sheep over then next few months so will post my progress every now and again.
      Best wishes
