I love to see all the things that make people happy, I'm doing my photo 365 this year of things that make me happy and that I'm grateful for. Isn't it great that spring is almost here.Joy x x x
Thanks, Joy. Sometimes little things get taken for granted but are really worth celebrating! I'm looking forward to Spring a lot.Best wishesEllie

Thanks, Chrissie. I really enjoyed putting this post together to celebrate happy things.Best wishesEllie
What a lot of pretty things! Makes me happy too...;-)Love from Mirjam.
Thanks, Mirjam. I'm really pleased you enjoyed the post as well. A bit of sunshine makes everything happier (whether it is real or in daffodil form).Best wishesEllie
Lovely, pretty happy things! Isn't it fab to see the little shoots start to sprout up in the garden ? A lovely reminder of the Spring that's to come :-)Happy Wednesday,Xx
Thanks, gilly. It is lovely to see signs of Spring (although I'm still not convinced we won't get Winter proper). In the meantime, I am enjoying the buds starting to show themselves.Hope you had a good Wednesday too.Best wishesEllie
I think your happy things are "my" happy things too..I love seeing the spring flowers opening...but we are a little behind here in the Moorlands... so I shall have to be patient!Thea xx
Thanks, Thea. I have some small Tete a Tete daffodils in flower in a pot at the front door - so cheerful. I am sure your garden will catch up.Best wishesEllie
Your garden always looks so pretty, and that is an amazing snowdrop!
Thanks, Annie. The double snowdrops are beautiful if you lift them up and look at the inside. It's very kind of you to say the garden looks pretty - it has nice little bits which I can isolate in photos, but the whole thing is very messy and has stuff everywhere (a bit like me!). One day, when I have my larger garden, with a greenhouse and cold frames and space, all will be beautiful...*sigh*...(although knowing me, it will probably be just as messy with even more stuff everywhere!)Best wishesEllie
I was just writing a comment and it disappeared somewhere. I'm browsing your blog, so many beautiful things and fun read :) And the above things would make me happy too!
Hello and welcome, Mari. I am glad that you found some nice things to read about. Sometimes I forget just how lucky I am, so it's a good thing to be thankful now and again!Best wishesEllie
What pretty sights you've gifted us with today Ellie - your Victoria sponge and flapjacks look delicious and then I spy all those beautiful blooms, love love those crocuses - so long since I caught sight of a crocus, and the magnolia and double snowdrop - well - magic - Spring is springing fast at your place! Your little pot, seasonal tree and mug magnify the sheer prettiness of this post - thank you for sharing it all with us. Cheers, Joy xo
Thanks, Joy. Spring is starting to make its presence known, I think, but we have had some frosts overnight which will hold things back again. I am very lucky to have all these things to be thankful for.Best wishesEllie
Lots of lovely happy things indeed Ellie. I love the seasonal tree and am going to get out my drift wood tree from Christmas for my Easter bunnies and things!
Thanks, Anne. I am pleased that I finally got the seasonal tree decorations for Winter done - I am going to keep them on there for a while yet. I am going to make some Spring birds next - thanks for your suggestion!Best wishesEllie
