Lots of snow here everyday since the weekend, so nice to see your signs of spring - unfortunately they are all too rare up here. xxx
Dear simplyvintageThank you - sorry to hear that you have had so much snow. I think Spring may be a little delayed this year, but it will come eventually. The plants are definitely showing signs of growing, even when the cold knocks them back again.Keep warm Best wishesEllie
Lovely hopeful pics of Spring on its way Ellie! Here's hoping it won't be too much longer before it's here properly. E x
Dear EThank you - I can't wait until Spring proper arrives. Everything is poised, just waiting to burst into life. I am looking forward to getting on with my seed sowing (I always have far too many things that I want to grow and I forget how limited I am with windowsill space.) Best wishesEllie
Yay, a little bit of spring! Lovely pictures...
Dear MirjamThank you. I was particularly pleased with the purple crocus photo. Your tulips look lovely too.Best wishesEllie

It is always such a thrill to see open Crocuses; I have very few and I have yet to see them unfurled. We are forecast snow again tomorrow...
Dear ToffeeappleThank you. I am pleased I managed to get a photo of my crocuses when they were open because I think they will be remaining closed for quite a while now. It is snowing again today and there is also a howling gale too. Winter is not quite over yet, I think.Best wishesEllie
Lots of my bulbs are out in the garden Ellie, unfortunately we have lots of snow forecast for tonight, tomorrow and saturday so they may just spoil! Typical, and its supposed to be spring!
Dear AnneThank you - I hope your bulbs manage to survive the weather. It is snowing here today and I think I shall be battening down the hatches this weekend! Winter is still in charge, isn't it?Best wishesEllie
