Index-Card-A-Day (ICAD) challenge 2021 - Week 3

The ICAD challenge continues and is providing me with lots to think about.  Above, from top left are: Chartreuse, Trinket, bottom right is Parallel and bottom left is Colour wheel.  (The three primaries I chose gave rather sludgy colours when I mixed them, but I remedied this by using brighter shades around the outside.)
From the top is Sand or Sandcastle, Bridge and Inkwell. (I chose to ink well, using inks and a stencil for that last one).
I have found that I have turned more to using my inks for the challenge this year and am enjoying rediscovering them.  On to the next prompts!

  2. These are beautiful, Ellie! I'm working on a Calm Unity Circle project with Lorrimarie Jenkins & her group. I don't get to my art table nearly as often as I'd like... so it feels good to be doing that. Have an "artful" new week. ~Andrea xoxoxo

    1. Thanks, Andrea. Any bit of creativity that we can fit into our busy lives is of huge benefit, isn't it? I hope you really enjoy your project.
I hope your week is filled with good things too.

    1. Thanks, Jo. It is a lovely challenge to take part in as the pieces to create are small. It is relaxing, except where I have to catch up and make more than one card a day (which has happened a few times!)

  5. Hmm, your index cards are interesting and a good project to stimulate my sometimes boring days. I love colouring and not too good at drawing figures etc so these abstract ideas are great. I don't want 1/2 acre of land as the weeds are killing my back in my little garden. Following you

    1. Thanks and welcome, kestrel. I hope you will find something to enjoy on my blog. This is a fun challenge to do and the card is quite small, so to complete one a day isn't too difficult. The prompts really make me think too!
The older I am getting, the more I realise that a big garden would be too much for me, but I would like a slightly bigger space than the one I have...although I do love my little garden!
